Wuxi No.1 Cotton Mill Textile Group (originally established as Wuxi First Cotton Textile Factory in 1919) was once a model of China's national industry and is now a leading enterprise in China's cotton textile sector.

The group comprises Wuxi No.1 Cotton Investment Co., Ltd., Wuxi Changjiang Precision Textile Co., Ltd., Taizhou Changxin (Xinghua) Textile Co., Ltd., Wuxi Qingfeng (Dafeng) Textile Co., Ltd., and Wuxi No.3 Cotton Textile Factory. It operates 600,000 spindles and 600 looms, with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of high-end yarn and 50 million meters of premium fabrics.

Equipped with advanced machinery from Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and Japan, Wuxi No.1 Cotton Mill pioneered compact spinning technology in China’s textile industry and is now the world’s largest compact yarn production base.
